Newsletter

PDF text documents load pretty fast but unfortunately .pdf picture files are slow to load and pictures are an important part of our Newsletter. If you are downloading with a dial up modem this Newsletter could take as long as forty five minutes to an hour. Thats the bad news, the good news is that it is worth the wait if you are a Seabee. I am on a dial up connection and this is how I do it: I start the download just before I have another task to do, like eating a meal or watching the news on TV. This takes the frustration out of the long wait. After it has finished downloading, the first thing I do is save the newsletter to my hard drive so I can go back to it in my leisure time and enjoy looking at it without having the long wait for it to download from the internet. It is also a simple way to save all of my back copies.
